There are many unique methods that Strategic Printing Solutions employs to reduce the usage of consumables. We work with supplies vendors to increase the yield amounts capable in each cartridge. Some of these methods are proprietary. However, some are as simple as testing and using different drums or charge rollers in our toner cartridges. Doing this helps avoid excess toner being drawn to the drum and ending up in the waste hopper.

Cartridge quality remains paramount at Strategic Printing Solutions. Our competition re-uses cartridges many times, which, over time, decreases the quality of the toner cartridge. Increasing the quality of our toner led us to integrate a "use once compatibles" philosophy into our managed print program. Because of this, we increase our quality versus the competition, but we end up with more cartridges than our competitors. With that in mind, we have remained vigilant and creative in our efforts to be eco-friendly. We have partnered with a company that uses plastics from old toner cartridges to make parking lot bumpers thereby reducing the amount of empty cartridges that end up in the landfill.
